What is a Site of Promise?

Sites of Promise are places (organizations, congregations, schools, businesses, etc.) where all children and youth are known by name and where individuals and organizations combine their talents and resources to fulfill all Five Promises to those children and youth. This is done to help youth develop the assets they need to succeed.

The five promises are that each child and youth will:

  • Have one or more caring adults in their life.
  • Receive a healthy start.
  • Develop marketable skills.
  • Have a safe place.
  • Have the opportunity to give back.

How Can We Become a Site of Promise?

If your organization is interested in becoming a Site of Promise, please contact Alisha Russo at 518-434-9194 ext. 137 or arusso@ccsnys.org prior to completing an application.
